Two days after two Dalit children were burnt alive in Sunped village in Faridabad, two cops allegedly killed a minor Dalit boy in Sonipat’s Gohana on Wednesday. The body of the deceased identified as Govinda, 14, was found near his home in Gohana’s Govindapura locality on Thursday morning.
Govinda’s family said he was picked up by Gohana police on charges of pigeon theft. The police had also taken a bribe of Rs 10,000 for releasing him. The agitated family members accused the police of killing him and blocked the Gohana-Jullana road by placing his dead body on the road for more than three hours.
